Travel Advisors Rank High For Working Remotely

New tech is making it easier to be a travel advisor

If you have a computer and a phone, you’re in business.
As a travel advisor, that is.
A new analysis examines the latest U.S. Census Bureau current population survey and breaks down the findings as they pertain to the U.S. remote and hybrid workforce.

Ranking high in the top 20 are travel advisors. The analysis revealed occupations with the highest share of partially or fully remote workers this year. Travel advisors ranked seventh with 73.9 percent working remotely at least some of the tine.
The industry lends itself to working remotely, as long as you have the right equipment. And the diligence. And a good working environment.

Among occupations, insurance underwriters, compensation specialists and writers are most likely to be remote. Writing is a good choice, except when the Wi-Fi connection is slow. But the pandemic brought about a new era in how people go to work. Including attending meetings.

The survey found that women are more likely than men to work remotely and parents are more likely to stay at home and work than non-parents are.

Remote work popularity rises with income as those making $150,000-plus a year are twice as likely to be remote than those making $75,000 to $99,000.
