The cruise line is adding its popular “Enticing Douro” itinerary to its Latin Touch series for 2025. The cruise for Spanish-speaking guests will depart November 25, 2025, aboard the 102-guest AmaDouro.
After departing from Porto, the ship will sail to Vega de Terrón, Spain, before returning to Porto. Along the way, guests can take a day trip to Salamanca, a Roman city and the seat of the Spanish language.
They can also enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch in Regua, take a tour of the Palacio de Mateus, and explore Porto’s UNESCO-designated historic quarter.
Other excursions include a trip to the Quinta da Avessada wine museum, a hike to Castelo Rodrigo and an exploration of the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios.
Guests also have the option of adding a 3-night pre-cruise land option in Lisbon.
The 8-day AmaWaterways sailing will be hosted by a bilingual cruise manager and will feature a daily tour with Spanish-speaking guides. The daily cruise programs, the daily newsletter and the onboard menus will all be in Spanish. Guests can also participate in Zumba classes and enjoy Latin-inspired entertainment.
