The highly anticipated state-of-the-art suites signal only the second-ever overwater accommodations for the Royalton brand, arriving five years after Royalton Antigua’s iconic Chairman Overwater Bungalows.
Highlights include panoramic sunset views, see-through glass floors, private plunge pools and direct ocean access. Guests also enjoy Diamond Club privileges, including dedicated butler service and access to top-tier amenities.
The suites are available in three distinctive categories, including Chairman, Presidential and Junior.
“We are truly excited to unveil the new Overwater Suites, our second set on the island, which are poised to transform the Caribbean travel experience by offering guests the opportunity to enjoy overwater accommodations typically found in far-flung destinations like the Maldives,” Jurgen Stutz, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Distribution for Blue Diamond Resorts, said in a statement.
“This opening invites adult travelers from around the world to discover the charm of Antigua, one of the region’s trendiest and most accessible destinations.”
This week’s launch was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebratory toast with resort executives. The debut also featured a performance by the CHIC Angels and an exclusive tour of the new suites.
The first guests also received a special certificate for a future stay.
