With a newly-available departure date of September 3, the itinerary will feature immersive cultural experiences in each destination and a matchlessly lavish mode of travel. Participants in this opulent multinational adventure will travel aboard seven of the world’s most prestigious trains, including the Rocky Mountaineer (Canada), Belmond Royal Scotsman (Scotland), La Dolce Vita Orient Express (Italy), Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (Europe), Rovos Rail (South Africa), The Maharajas’ Express (India), and the Eastern & Oriental Express (Southeast Asia).
“When we created this one-of-a-kind journey a year ago, it was a response to the growing demand for luxury rail around the globe,” said Railbookers President & CEO Frank Marini. “We’re so excited to bring an exciting new itinerary to market for 2025 departures, and have already received hundreds of inquiries from travelers looking to cross these iconic rail adventures off their bucket list. Our 2025 Around the World by Luxury Rail itinerary has been refined and tailored to maximize our guests’ time and experiences while enjoying the culture, cuisine and activities that each of these renowned destinations have to offer.”
The global trek begins in Vancouver, making its way through the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. From there, travelers will embark on the next leg in Europe, exploring Scotland’s historic landscapes and continuing through to the cultural heart of Italy in Rome. The Boot’s picturesque countryside provides the backdrop for a scenic tour before guests arrive in Paris. After savoring the rich history of the French capital, the trip continues through Central Europe, arriving in Turkey. Following this European exploration, guests will take a flight to India for a multi-day cultural immersion. But, the adventure doesn’t stop there, continuing on to South Africa for a lavish train excursion aboard Rovos Rail, and concluding with a final stop in Singapore for an unforgettable finish.
This one-of-a-kind package includes indulgent accommodations both onboard and off the various trains, with opulent private cabins and hand-selected five-star luxury hotels in each city. A wide range of curated excursions also awaits travelers at every destination, from private tours of ancient Roman sites to seeing the iconic Taj Mahal firsthand to indulging in gourmet South African vintages and cuisine.
Bookings for this once-in-a-lifetime trip are now open, although availability is extremely limited. Travelers can also customize their journey to suit their preferences by selecting individual rail segments or destinations.
