Scheduled to debut in the fall of 2025, the 4,300-guest ship will have expanded dining venues, fun experiences and non-smoking casino areas. The 178,000-ton Star Princess will be the line’s second Sphere Class vessel, following behind sister ship Sun Princess.
“After the overwhelming response to Sun Princess, we are excited to debut her sister ship, Star Princess, with added enhancements to elevate the guest experience,” says John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. “From expanded non-smoking casino areas to new spaces for relaxation and recreation, Star Princess will deliver an unforgettable vacation for all when she launches in fall 2025.”
Travelers aboard Star Princess can try their luck on 68 slot machines in newly designated non-smoking sections of the casino. The ship will also feature an expanded version of O’Malley’s Irish Pub, with 32 extra seats for enjoying traditional Irish food, live music, beers and whiskeys.
It will also have an expanded version of Love by Britto, the art-inspired dining venue dreamed up by artist Romero Britto and chef Rudi Sodamin. Guests can also take advantage of the new SkyDeck Sports Court & Track, featuring a pickleball and basketball court, a jogging track, a splash pad and shaded areas for relaxation.
Star Princess will also boast an exclusive area on the top deck called the Sanctuary Collection. It will be accessible to guests in suites, mini suites and 12 deluxe balcony cabins. Overall, the ship will have 2,157 total staterooms.
